What We Do

The people behind
complex advisory work.

Technology advisory and consulting firms need people who can assess a transaction, lead delivery and build client relationships. Our searches cover technology M&A, carve-outs, integration and transformation, including work for private equity sponsors and portfolio companies.

We place across both sides of a PE technology mandate, but the weight is on the advisory side. That is three tiers: the Technology M&A Advisory leadership who run due diligence, the deal lifecycle and the client relationships; the Control Tower governance seats that give sponsors independent assurance above PMO; and the Programme Delivery leads, PMO, ERP, applications and infrastructure, who own the workstreams. On the portfolio company side, we place the CIO directly into the business, interim or permanent, and help them build out the wider technology team.

Delivery-tested, not just advisory We screen for candidates who have personally owned carve-out separation, TSA negotiation and Day 1 cutover, rather than only writing the findings.
Calibrated to how PE actually hires We match advisory pedigree, seniority and delivery depth to the requirements of PE sponsors and technology advisory firms.
Discreet by design Live carve-out mandates are commercially sensitive. Every search is run with the confidentiality both the client and candidate side require.

Frequently asked.

Yes. We place interim and permanent CIOs into private equity-backed carve-outs, working directly with PE technology advisory firms and their portfolio companies through separation, TSA exit and Day 1 readiness.
Principal and Director-level technology M&A advisory talent, alongside interim CIO and carve-out delivery leadership roles reporting directly to PE sponsors or portfolio company boards.
A background from a major advisory firm with genuine carve-out or technology M&A delivery experience matters more than direct PE exposure, though candidates who have worked with PE sponsors are prioritised where available.
An interim CIO typically holds executive accountability for the technology function through the transition. A carve-out delivery lead, often a PMO or Control Tower role, owns the separation programme itself, day-to-day steering of workstreams, TSA scoping and cutover. We place both, and we're precise about which one a mandate actually needs.
Carve-out timelines are often tight and pre-close, so we move fast. Initial qualified names typically within one to two weeks of a confirmed brief, given the direct network approach we use rather than a database search.
