Your information

Privacy notice

How we handle your information, who to contact and the choices available to you.

Who we are

The TalentHire Group is a trading name of SA Staffing Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16111433. Our registered office is 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact simon@thetalenthiregroup.com about your information.

Information we collect

We collect information you send through our website form or by email: name, email address, telephone number if supplied, LinkedIn profile, location and message. During recruitment, this may include your CV, career history, qualifications, notice period, salary expectations, work-authorisation information and interview feedback. For client contacts, we hold business contact details and correspondence. We may obtain professional information from public LinkedIn profiles, business contact databases, referrals and recruitment correspondence. Please do not send health, ethnicity or other sensitive information through the enquiry form.

Why we use it

We use information to answer enquiries, discuss recruitment needs, identify suitable opportunities, assess relevant experience and manage recruitment processes. We rely on legitimate interests in providing recruitment services and maintaining professional relationships, taking account of your rights and reasonable expectations. Where necessary, we also process data to perform a contract with you or take requested steps before entering one, and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Agreement to representation is our operational requirement for client submissions; it is not a blanket consent to unrelated uses.

Sharing your information

We only submit your name or CV to a prospective client after you agree to representation for that specific client and role and approve the CV. We use service providers for hosting, forms, email, document storage and communications, including Netlify, Formspree and Microsoft 365. Relevant providers process information to deliver those services. We may share information with professional advisers or authorities where necessary or legally required. We do not sell your information or make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you.

International information flows

We recruit across the UK, Europe and US, and service providers or clients may process information outside the UK. Where UK transfer rules apply, an appropriate transfer mechanism is required, such as applicable adequacy regulations or contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about the destination and safeguards relevant to your data or for a copy of applicable safeguards. Your approval of a client submission does not replace transfer requirements.

How long we keep information

We keep candidate information for five years after our last contact, reviewing continued need where a recruitment process remains active. Client contact information is kept during the relationship and for five years afterwards. Financial records are normally kept for six years. You can ask us to delete information sooner; some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can object to direct marketing at any time. If we rely on consent for a particular use, you can withdraw it. Email Simon using the address above. We normally respond within one month; we will explain if a permitted extension is needed. Supplying information is voluntary, but we may be unable to progress an enquiry or application without the relevant details.

Complaints

You can contact us with a concern and may complain directly to the Information Commissioner's Office. You do not have to complain to us first.

Website forms and cookies

Enquiries are processed through Formspree and delivered to Simon's email. The website does not currently load Google Analytics or advertising tags. Hosting and form services may process technical request information to deliver and protect the service. Before optional analytics is introduced, this notice and the relevant consent controls will be updated.
